PREPPER'S RESOURCE

COMPATIBILITY & SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

YOUR AI. YOUR PHONE. YOUR COMPUTER.

Prepper's Resource is being built around one simple idea:

Your preparedness AI should be able to go where you go.

Instead of designing Prepper's Resource only for traditional desktop computers, we're developing the system with smartphones and personal computers at the center of the experience.

Connect Prepper's Resource to a supported device and access locally available preparedness information and AI capabilities without depending entirely on an internet connection.

PHONE + PERSONAL COMPUTER

Prepper's Resource is designed for use across supported:

• Android smartphones and tablets

• Windows personal computers

• Apple iPhone and iPad devices*

• Apple Mac computers*

Your phone provides portability when you're away from home.

Your personal computer provides access to more computing power when available.

Prepper's Resource is designed to move with you between compatible devices rather than being permanently tied to one computer.

ANDROID

Android is one of the primary mobile platforms being developed and tested for Prepper's Resource.

Supported USB-C Android devices are intended to provide portable access to Prepper's Resource, allowing you to carry your offline preparedness information and supported AI capabilities directly on a device you already use every day.

Actual AI capabilities and performance will depend on the Android device's processor, available memory, operating system, and other hardware.

WINDOWS PERSONAL COMPUTERS

Windows is one of the primary computer platforms being developed and tested for Prepper's Resource.

Compatible Windows PCs can provide significantly more computing power than many mobile devices, allowing Prepper's Resource to take advantage of more capable local AI models and features when supported by the computer's hardware.

This means the same portable Prepper's Resource system can provide a mobile experience on your phone and a more powerful experience when connected to a capable personal computer.

APPLE DEVICES

Support for Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers, is part of the Prepper's Resource development roadmap.

Apple compatibility and available AI capabilities will be finalized after testing is completed on supported Apple hardware.

Final supported Apple devices and requirements will be published before Apple compatibility is represented as fully tested.

*Apple support is currently under development and testing.

OFFLINE AI

Prepper's Resource is being designed around locally available AI.

On supported devices, AI processing can take place using the device's own computing hardware rather than requiring every request to be sent to a cloud AI service.

Depending on the supported device and available AI features, this can include capabilities such as:

• Conversational AI

• Preparedness questions and guidance

• Searching and working with the included preparedness knowledge base

• General AI assistance

• Image and photo interpretation

• Potential plant identification assistance

• Equipment and object recognition assistance

• Reading and interpreting visible information from supported images

• Other locally available AI capabilities

AI-generated information and image interpretation can be incorrect and should always be independently verified when health, safety, property, or life could be affected.

THE MORE POWERFUL THE DEVICE, THE MORE AI CAN DO

Prepper's Resource itself is portable, but the device connected to it provides the computing power used by many local AI features.

Think of Prepper's Resource as carrying the tools, information, AI components, and preparedness resources.

Your phone or computer provides the engine.

A modern smartphone may provide an excellent portable AI experience.

A powerful personal computer may be capable of running larger or faster AI models and more demanding features.

Older or less powerful devices may still provide access to portions of Prepper's Resource while offering reduced AI performance or fewer locally available AI capabilities.

Because hardware varies enormously, performance will not be identical across every device.

INTERNET CONNECTION

An internet connection is not intended to be required for the core locally available preparedness resources and supported offline AI capabilities.

That's the point.

Whether you're dealing with a hurricane, extended power outage, remote location, cellular disruption, overloaded network, or simply don't have internet access, Prepper's Resource is being designed to keep useful tools available locally.

Some operating-system functions, updates, initial setup procedures, optional features, or third-party software may require internet access.

USB CONNECTION

Prepper's Resource is designed around modern USB connectivity.

Compatible USB-C devices may connect directly when supported.

Some computers or devices may require an appropriate USB adapter depending on their available ports.

FINAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Because Prepper's Resource is still undergoing development and hardware testing, final minimum and recommended system requirements will be published before commercial release.

We would rather test a device and know it works than promise compatibility based solely on specifications.

Our goal is not to claim that Prepper's Resource works perfectly on every electronic device ever made.

Our goal is to make Prepper's Resource work extremely well on the phones and personal computers people actually carry and use.

ONE PORTABLE RESOURCE. MULTIPLE DEVICES.

At home, connect to your personal computer.

On the move, connect to your phone.

When the internet isn't there, your locally available resources can still be with you.

PREPPER'S RESOURCE

Your AI. Your Information. Your Devices.

Prepare Today. Survive Tomorrow.
