TERMS OF USE & SOFTWARE LICENSE

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS
These Terms of Use & Software License govern your use of the Prepper's Resource product, including its software, interfaces, configurations, original materials, included digital resources, AI-related features, and other components.
By purchasing, accessing, or using Prepper's Resource, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the product.
PERSONAL USE LICENSE
Your purchase of Prepper's Resource provides you with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Prepper's Resource software and included proprietary digital materials for your personal, lawful use, subject to these Terms.
You may use your Prepper's Resource device on multiple compatible personal devices that you own or control.
Buying Prepper's Resource does not transfer ownership of Prepper's Resource intellectual property to you.
YOUR PHYSICAL USB
The physical Prepper's Resource USB device you purchase belongs to you.
However, ownership of the physical device does not automatically transfer copyright, trademark, software, licensing, redistribution, or other intellectual-property rights associated with materials stored on the device.
WHAT YOU MAY DO
Subject to these Terms and any applicable third-party licenses, you may:
• Use Prepper's Resource for your own personal preparedness and general informational purposes.
• Connect your Prepper's Resource device to compatible phones and personal computers that you own or control.
• Use the included software and AI capabilities as permitted by the product.
• Access included preparedness resources for your personal use.
• Create reasonable backup copies of materials when specifically permitted by their applicable licenses or by Prepper's Resource.
WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
Except where applicable law or a third-party license expressly permits otherwise, you may not:
• Duplicate Prepper's Resource for resale or commercial distribution.
• Sell, rent, sublicense, commercially distribute, or commercially share copies of proprietary Prepper's Resource software or materials.
• Create and sell unauthorized copies of the Prepper's Resource product.
• Remove or alter Prepper's Resource copyright, trademark, attribution, or ownership notices.
• Represent an unauthorized copy, modification, or competing product as an official Prepper's Resource product.
• Use Prepper's Resource trademarks, logos, branding, or other protected brand elements without authorization.
• Circumvent technical protections or licensing systems where prohibited by applicable law.
• Use Prepper's Resource in violation of applicable law.
SHARING AND COPYING
Prepper's Resource is intended for use by the purchaser and within their personal household unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing one Prepper's Resource device does not grant permission to duplicate the complete product for friends, organizations, businesses, resale, online distribution, file-sharing networks, or other unauthorized distribution.
If someone wants their own copy of Prepper's Resource, please support continued development by purchasing an authorized product.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Prepper's Resource name, logos, branding, original software, original interfaces, original documentation, original written materials, original graphics, product organization, and other original proprietary elements may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other applicable intellectual-property laws.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by their respective owners.
THIRD-PARTY AND OPEN-SOURCE MATERIALS
Prepper's Resource may include or interact with third-party software, open-source software, AI models, reference materials, public-domain resources, or other content that Prepper's Resource does not own.
Those materials remain subject to their respective copyrights, licenses, terms, attribution requirements, and other applicable rights.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights that an applicable open-source, public-domain, or third-party license independently grants to you.
Prepper's Resource claims ownership only over intellectual property that it owns or has the legal right to control.
AI MODELS AND COMPONENTS
Certain AI models, runtimes, libraries, and related components used by Prepper's Resource may be provided under licenses established by third parties.
Your use of those components may also be subject to the applicable third-party license terms.
Prepper's Resource does not claim ownership of third-party AI models or software merely because they are included in, configured for, or used by the Prepper's Resource system.
UPDATES AND PRODUCT CHANGES
Prepper's Resource may release updates, improvements, corrections, additional resources, or other changes over time.
Unless specifically promised as part of your purchase, future versions, major upgrades, additional products, or additional services are not automatically included with the original purchase.
We may modify features when reasonably necessary for compatibility, security, reliability, legal compliance, licensing requirements, or continued product development.
DEVICE COMPATIBILITY
Available features and performance can vary depending on your phone, personal computer, operating system, processor, memory, available hardware, and software environment.
Customers should review the current compatibility and system requirements before purchasing or installing Prepper's Resource.
OFFLINE OPERATION
Prepper's Resource is designed to operate completely offline for its included core features.
Once properly set up on a supported device, an internet connection is not required to access the included preparedness resources or supported local AI capabilities.
No Wi-Fi.
No cellular service.
No cloud connection required.
The AI and preparedness resources are stored locally and are designed to remain available when internet access is unavailable.
PRODUCT UPDATES
From time to time, Prepper's Resource may release significant software, AI, compatibility, security, or preparedness-content updates.
An internet connection may be used to download an available update, but internet access is not required for normal offline operation of the existing installed product.
Downloading an update is separate from using Prepper's Resource.
Our goal is simple:
Connect when you choose to update.
Stay completely offline when you need Prepper's Resource.
AI LIMITATIONS
Artificial intelligence can make mistakes.
AI-generated answers, image interpretations, object recognition, plant identification, technical information, preparedness guidance, and other AI-generated information are not guaranteed to be complete or accurate.
Prepper's Resource is an informational tool and does not replace qualified medical care, emergency services, professional advice, official instructions, appropriate training, or independent verification when those resources are needed.

CUSTOMER DATA AND PERSONAL FILES
Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of personal files they choose to store on a Prepper's Resource device.
Prepper's Resource cannot guarantee recovery of customer-created data that is lost, deleted, overwritten, damaged, or corrupted.
Do not store the only copy of important personal information on the Prepper's Resource USB.
COMPLIMENTARY REFLASH SERVICE
If original Prepper's Resource software or included content is accidentally deleted, overwritten, reformatted, or corrupted, we may offer a complimentary reflash service for an authentic Prepper's Resource device when restoration is technically and legally possible.
There is no charge for the restoration service itself when offered as complimentary. The customer is responsible for applicable shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
A reflash may erase personal files stored on the device. Customers are responsible for backing up personal data before sending a device for service whenever possible.
WARRANTY AND RETURNS
Product returns, defective products, warranty coverage, replacements, and support are governed by the current Prepper's Resource Returns & Refund Policy and Limited Warranty & Product Support terms.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PREPPER'S RESOURCE AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time as Prepper's Resource evolves or as legal, licensing, technical, or business requirements change.
The current version will be posted on the Prepper's Resource website with an updated revision date.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms will be governed by applicable law and, where legally permitted, the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section eliminates rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer law.
